Native to tropical America, calathea’s brings colour, geometry and movement to your space. The vividly patterned leaves area attractive on both sides and typically oval shaped with stong leaf veining and markings.
They open and close depending on the time of day and the available light.
Calathea warscewiczii, aka 'Jungle Velvet,' exhibit large, intricately patterned leaves with purple undersides and get their name from the fuzzy, velvet like texture of their leaves.
This plant prefer bright filtered sunlight but should not be placed in direct sunlight.
Water generously when surface of mix is dry.
